This was due to revert back to £125,000 from 3 September 2009. From 1 January 2010 the threshold for residential property in disadvantaged areas reverts back to £150,000. Excise duties rise by 2 per cent with the resultant increase in retail prices: Fuel dutyFuel duty will increase by 2 pence per litre on 1 September 2009, and by 1 pence per litre in real terms each year from 2010 to 2013.
